Within the framework of City & Guilds Design and Craft qualifications, Kate Horner has used her considerable experience and knowledge to deliver a suite of 4 Felt Courses: Introduction, Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced. Extra hours have been costed in to each of the course levels, so that you not only receive your syllabus requirements but a full and considered experience.
All courses lead to City & Guilds certification.
If you do not want a formal qualification, but still wish to experience the whole course, we are very happy to accomodate this. In this circumstance, you do not pay the City & Guilds registration fee.
Some of our former students have gone onto to run their own successful businesses such as:
North West Wools
Around the country lots of our students run workshops, exhibiting and selling work, and working within Adult Education and Secondary Education. Farmers have used the courses to learn how to use their own wool and diversify their income. Some have used their courses to enhance work and service delivered within the NHS. The one thing they have in common is a thorough understanding and skill base to use within their chosen profession.
Attending students enrol for September.
On-line students can start at anytime.
