ArtyBird Annual Exhibition

ArtyBird Carnforth held its first annual exhibition at Greenlands Farm Village this year. We wanted to celebrate all of the student work that we had not been able to show at WoolFest.

It was a beautiful exhibition that was peaceful and tranquil. We had a steady stream of visitors who stayed and studied the work, including student work books. We were able to spend time with people talking and demonstrating. Roger Mason gave an insightful talk about the work he does at Greenlands developing fine wool fleeces for the craft market. I came away with a number of fleeces to experiment with. My students and I will enjoy these over the year and look forward to showing off what we have achieved next year.
