Level 2 Felt Flowers study by Marie Feathers Level 2 courses are run on one weekend a month for a year. Each weekend is a short module that builds up a portfolio for assessment. Each module is designed as a short scheme of work to give ideas for the classroom. Using art techniques to plan for a craft piece underpins all the work. Kate Horner has 11 years of secondary school experience and is able to discuss ways of adapting the modules to the classroom situation.
Demos with lots of samples are a key feature of all the courses The Level 3 courses are run on one weekend a month for two years and are for the serious student who wishes to study design in depth as well as apply this to your craft area at a professional level. This level of qualification is needed to teach your subject as a specialist.
Students can explore the latest equipment Kate and Rosie are keen to continue with their own professional development. Kate successfully completed her City & Guilds Level 3 certificate in Fashion this year and is studying web site design at the moment. Rosie is studying for her NCFE moderators qualification.
